Data collected and purposes

  • User account (optional): email address and password (encrypted, never stored in plain text), to let you sign in and keep your preferences.
  • Language preference: attached to your account if signed in, otherwise kept in a cookie.
  • "4 modes" diagnostic test: your answers and result are recorded (linked to your account if signed in, otherwise anonymously), for internal statistical purposes. Your country is derived from your IP address at submission time (via a self-hosted IP-to-country lookup, never sent to a third-party service); the IP address itself is not retained.
  • Traffic statistics: pages you visit are counted for internal statistical purposes (most-visited pages, number of unique visitors, by day/month/year, by country). Your IP address is never retained in plain text: it is turned into an irreversible fingerprint (hash) at the time of the visit, used only to count distinct visitors. Your country is derived the same way as for the diagnostic test.

Legal basis

This processing relies on your consent (account creation, taking the test) and on the publisher's legitimate interest in operating the site and measuring its traffic.

Recipients

This data is not shared with any third party. It is hosted by OVH (France).

Retention period

Account data is kept as long as the account exists. Diagnostic test results and traffic statistics are kept indefinitely in statistical form, unless you request their deletion.

Cookies

This site uses two technical cookies, strictly necessary for its operation, exempt from prior consent under applicable regulation (as they are essential to the requested service):

  • a language preference cookie (FR/EN/ES);
  • an authentication session cookie, if you are signed in.

Site traffic statistics (pages visited, unique visitors) do not rely on any cookie: they are measured server-side from a non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address, never stored on your device. No advertising cookie or third-party tracker is used on this site.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us via the Contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or your local data protection authority.
